Good to know
- Try it out without an account: On the login page, 🎬 Demo-Modus takes you into a sample family with one click – as father, mother or child, without a password and without signing up. You can follow every guide here directly in the sample family.
- A personal account is set up by the operator individually – there is no self-registration. Request a demo.
- Every family sees only its own data – recipes, to-dos, shopping list and more are strictly separated.
- Which features your account sees is decided by the operator per family when setting it up.
- Under Administration › Users, an administrator can add additional people to their own family.
The quickest way to look things up is with the app open next to you: if you do not have an account yet, open the demo mode on the login page and try every step with the sample family. With your own account you log in at the address you were given, using your username or email address and your password. The login then stays active – even if you close the tab or the app –, is extended on every use and only expires after 14 days without activity.
Forgot your password?
On the login page you will find Forgot your password?. Enter the email address stored in your account there – you will receive a link to set a new password. The link is valid for one hour and can only be used once; afterwards all sessions of this account are ended for security reasons, so you have to log in again on other devices.
If no address or a wrong address is stored in your account, nothing will arrive – in that case only someone with administrator access can help by correcting the address under Administration › Users. For security reasons the page never reveals whether an account exists for an address – the confirmation always looks the same.
Settings
Under ⚙️ Settings (in the menu and via your name in the footer) you change your name, email address and password. There you also decide which tiles appear on your home page: tiles and shortcut icons can be sorted by drag & drop and hidden individually. You also set how far ahead the appointment tile looks and for which events you receive push notifications. You can change the theme and manage your calendars. These settings only apply to you personally, not to the whole family. A detailed description can be found in the Handbook: Settings.
This is also where the 🗣️ Alexa tab is located, in which you connect an Amazon Echo to your family – afterwards every voice command lands directly on the shared shopping list. How pairing works in detail is described in the Handbook: Alexa.
For system administrators there is also the Administration with user and family management, as well as the access statistics.
