Planbiene brings small games right into the family app – for a spontaneous duel between parents and children or a calm round in between. All family members can create games and play along; games are enabled for every family.

Create a game

  1. Open Games from the menu.
  2. Tap + New game in the top right.
  3. Choose the game type.
  4. Enter the player names and optionally assign a family member.
  5. For Memory or Water Sort you can choose the difficulty.
  6. Save – the game appears in the list and is ready to play.

Player types and assignment

Every game has two sides: Player 1 and Player 2. Both can get a name and optionally be assigned to a family member. If a player is assigned to a member, only that member may make the move – so a long-running game stays fair, for example over several days.

Without an assignment, anyone in the family may move. This is handy for a spontaneous game on a shared tablet or when children take turns.

Computer opponent

For Connect Four, Tic Tac Toe and Memory you can enable the computer as opponent instead of a second person. There are three difficulty levels:

  • Easy: The computer plays randomly or very defensively – good for younger children.
  • Medium: The computer recognises simple opportunities and blocks occasionally.
  • Hard: The computer plays much more tactically – a small challenge even for adults.

Game types

Connect Four

Classic: the first player to get four of their own pieces in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins. Tap a column to drop a piece. The game automatically detects when someone has won or the board is full.

Tic Tac Toe

The familiar noughts-and-crosses game on a 3 × 3 grid. Two players take turns placing their symbol. The first to get three in a row wins – or the grid ends in a draw.

Memory

Find matching card pairs. Before starting you can choose the grid size: 4 × 4, 6 × 6 or 8 × 8. Memory and concentration are required – especially popular with children.

Water Sort

A calm puzzle game for one player: pour colour layers between bottles until each bottle contains only one colour. There are three difficulty levels:

  • Easy: 4 colours, 6 bottles.
  • Medium: 5 colours, 7 bottles.
  • Hard: 6 colours, 8 bottles.

Every newly generated puzzle is solvable – but it sometimes takes several attempts until the right path becomes visible.

Your turn and notifications

When it is your turn in an active game, a hint appears directly on the home screen. Use it or the games list to get back into the game with one tap.

Delete or restart a game

The game detail view offers two actions: Delete removes the game completely, Restart keeps the type and players but resets the board – perfect for a rematch.
