🗓️ Weekly model (weekly changeover)
The child spends alternating full weeks with each parent, and the changeover takes place on a fixed weekday. This is the default pattern in the custody planner ("weekly changeover").

Advantages
- +Only one handover per week – little organisational effort
- +A clear, easily predictable rhythm for nursery/school and free time
- +Well suited to older children and teenagers
Disadvantages
- −Up to 7 days in a row without the other parent
- −For very young children the separation can be too long
- −Assumes the two homes are close by (same nursery/school reachable)
